Computing Evolved
Alright, I am skeptical when it comes to new computing styles but intrigued by some of the ideas that are currently coming out. You have new technology like Microsoft Surface which allows you to interact with your computer screen entirely with your hands. There's also Google Android, a new development platform that aims at an open source operating system for mobile devices. The one I currently am very interested in, is Cloudo.
Cloudo takes familiar concepts and puts them everywhere. And by everywhere I mean wherever you have access to the web. See, it's essentially a web operating system. It works and feels like Windows or OSX and allows you to do many of the same functions, just with the ability to literally take it anywhere you want. Granted this concept can be made physical by owning a laptop, but the idea that you don't need to lug around ANY equipment makes it appealing.
Cloudo is in private alpha currently, and I am awaiting my request to test to be approved.
